NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ELECTION 2023
Mt. Pleasant City is seeking qualified citizens to run for the following positions: Three (3) City Council Members (4 year term each)
Candidates must meet the qualifications of Section 10-3-301 and Section 20A-9-203 of Utah Code:
U.S. Citizen
Registered voter of Mt. Pleasant City
A Resident of the City for the 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of the election
Maintain a principal place of residence within the municipality, and within the district that the elected officer represents during the officer’s term of office
Must not be convicted of a felony
If interested, candidates must file a “Declaration of Candidacy” form. Forms must be filed, in person, with the City Recorder.
The filing period is from Thursday, June 1, 2021 through Wednesday June 7, 2023 between the hours of 8am — 5pm.
