On July 1st our new power rate change went into effect. In the transition of the new change, there was a power rate reduction. You will notice your bill was slightly larger because the $20.00 base rate was not assessed on your July bill, therefore it is included in your August bill. If you have any questions, please contact City Hall. 435-462-2456.
There is a scammer out there calling Mt. Pleasant City residents as Rocky Mountain Collection Department and telling them that they owe money today or they will be shut off!!! DO NOT give them any information. IT IS A SCAM… This is serious a crime…don’t be a victim.
HALLOWEEN POLES IN MT. PLEASANT
Light poles are for rent to decorate of Halloween in Mt. Pleasant on Main Street for $10.00 a pole. The city will take your rent money and assign you a pole decorate.
Use your imagination and all the spooks and goblins you want to make your pole stand out. You just can’t go into the street or sidewalk to interfere with traffic. After the Youth City Council has chosen a winner on the eve of Halloween, the winner will receive a $100.00 on Halloween Day at 3:30 p.m. at their pole on Main Street from City Treasurer, Dave Oxman. We want to be the scariest main street around for our school parade. Businesses are also trying to look scary, so come walk the street, if you dare!!!! Coleen Oltrogge, Director of Celebrations.
