    Hub City Days – June through July
    Celebrating the Fourth of July in Mt. Pleasant has always been a family affair, and includes many days of exciting community events. Fourth of July activities include a parade down State Street, early bird breakfast at the park, food, games and entertainment at the park all day and one of the few remaining Soap Box Derby races. Festivities at the end of the day include a rodeo and spectacular fireworks display.

    Hub City Days also includes our Mountain Man Rendezvous with muzzle loader shoot-outs, exhibits, trading, displays, candy cannon explosions, tomahawk and knife throwing contests, frying pan tossing, dutch oven cook off, kids games, native American dancers, historical reenactments and more. Participants camp out in authentic teepees and wall tents during the three day event. Spectators are always welcome at these rendevous.

    Sanpitch Cowboy Expo – July 25

    7 a.m. – Cowboy Breakfast at the Cook Shak; Early Morning Cowboy/Cowgirl Photo Shoot with Ann Torrence; US Highway 89 Book Project Highlights with Ann Torrence; Vendors/Exhibitors featuring Cowboy Stuff open all day.

    8 a.m. – Colt Starting Demonstration; Stick Horse Races, Little Buckaroo Roping, Pony Rides; Sign up for Ranch Horse Challenge

    9 a.m. – 2nd annual Versatility Ranch Horse Challenge begins

    12 noon – Cowboy Chow Time at the Cook Shak; Cowboy Poetry, Ranch Roping Demonstrations, Cowboy Entertainment; Hi Noon Rootin Tootin Water Gun Shoot-out and Pony Rides for the Lil Cowpokes.

    1 p.m. – Versatility Ranch Horse Challenge continues.

    6 p.m. – Pioneer Days Horse Parade In Fairview.

    8 p.m. – Pioneer Days Rodeo at Fairview Rodeo grounds.

    City Bucks for Christmas – Gift Certificates – December
    Thanksgiving through December. Receive a ticket for each $5 purchase at participating merchants to be entered into a drawing for a $50 to $200 gift certificate. You do not need to be present at the drawing to win. The drawing for Gift Certificates will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday December 20th at the Recreation Center (on the corner of State St. and Main St.). There will also be door prizes. Participating Merchants: Terrell’s Marketplace, Beck’s Home Furnishings, Skyline Pharmacy, Horseshoe Mtn.     Christmas Home Lighting Contest – December
    This contest is open to all users of Mt. Pleasant power. Everyone who fills out an entry form and has their home or business decorated will be eligible for judging in the contest.

    Christmas Lighting – December
    Early in December, amid carols, games and entertainment, Mt. Pleasant’s Main Street is magically transformed into a sea of sparkling white, as thousands of little white lights trim each building, creating an old-fashioned Christmas village.
